Project for the Future
The Schools Cooperation Network for Business, which Helbako has been involved in for many years, has just grown bigger:
A successful competition on the subject of advertising was launched with pupils from the 11th grade of the
Immanuel-Kant Gymnasium in Heiligenhaus. Working with art teacher, Alessandra Nitsch, and Helbako Head of
Training, Jörg Schmidt, different teams from the art course set about devising and designing a flyer to present
the different professions at Helbako. The target group was 15 to 21 year-olds. "First of all, they attended a
presentation from Helbako PR Manager, Gerold Wenzens, where the pupils learnt about the key concepts of commercial
marketing and were given tips on logo, format, corporate design and what training at Helbako entails."
The pupils were invited to carry out interviews with the trainees from Helbako and learn more about what it
is like to work at Helbako by visiting the on-site Helbako Training Centre. Their work on the project,
presented in a professional manner to the jury, showed creativity and care in the way they were executed.
Three of the eleven designs from this successful project can be downloaded. Helbako will use the best ideas from the flyers submitted in its final prospectus. This prospectus will be available from autumn at locations frequented by young people to recruit them into professions at Helbako.
Helbako GmbH provides continuous training for around 12 apprentices to become a salesperson, electronics
and system engineer, and IT system engineer. From autumn onwards, any young person interested can apply
for these sought-after places at the Heiligenhaus electronics supplier."
